Painting Studio Director
Holly Hannon

holly

Holly graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design in 1985 and has worked as a professional illustrator for twenty eighty years illustrating over 25 children’s books for clients including Scholastic, Random House, and Disney.
In addition to illustration, she teaches art classes in a variety of subjects for adults and children in the areas surrounding her
home of Seneca, SC.
She is a long-term member of the South Carolina Art’s Commission and teaches residencies and programs in schools throughout South Carolina.

Among the publishers, teachers and students who request her, she is known for attention to detail and a passion for color and technique. In addition to programming all classes in the Painting Studio, Holly is in charge of children and youth programming, as well.

Watercolors with Holly Hannon
Saturdays, June 10-July 1 10am-1pm
A class for beginners and advanced students to explore painting in watercolors while accomplishing a finished painting.  No experience necessary!  All supplies included.
For ages 14 and older.
Cost $140.00 (tuition $120.00; materials $20.00)

Oil Painting with Holly Hannon
Saturdays, July 8-29  10am-1pm
Explore the basics about oil painting and/or advanced techniques while painting subjects of your choosing.  All supplies included.

August

Drawing with Holly Hannon
Saturdays, August 5-26  10am-1pm
Learn the principles of composition, shading, perspective, line and the basics of “how to draw” anything.  A must for those interested in furthering their artistic skills including their paintings. All supplies included.  For ages 14 and older
