Clemson Festival of Arts

The Clemson Festival of Arts has been rescheduled for June 22

The National Weather Service predicted 85% chance of thunderstorms including lightning.  Because, the majority of the interactive art activities, the music, and many of the artists work could not survive the rain and the danger associated with lightning, the Committee felt it was prudent to cancel for the safety of the artists and the public.  Please plan on enjoying our festival activities in June.  Look for details to come.

From a Festival Artist:

I fully support the decision to cancel in view of the conditions we had that morning. Although we didn’t get what was predicted at our house, I am personally glad the decision was made with safety and security of the Artists and public as foremost.
