Volunteers
As a non-profit, a lot of what we do at The ARTS Center is dependent on help from Volunteers. We need help in many areas, and at a variety of times during the day. If you have an interest in art, non-profit volunteerism, fun, or any of the following, please give us a call or come by for a visit.
Clerical
Mailings
We have a non-profit bulk mail permit and send out large mailings several times a year. We also send out membership letters four time a year for renewals.
Reception
Answering the phone, greeting visitors, and giving tours is one of our most needed jobs.
Marketing
- Newsletter coordination and writing
- Distributing posters and cards announcing events to the surrounding areas
- Talk (of course, all good) about The ARTS Center whenever given a chance.
Events
Receptions
During our many artists receptions during the year, we always need food provided, docents for the gallery, drink and food servers, greeters, and clean-up artists.

Exhibits
The ART Center @ the following locations change several times a year, and we need volunteers to help with removing and re-hanging artwork. We like to do an Artist reception at the Opening of each exhibit, so help with cooking or entertaining is always welcome.
- Clemson City Hall
- Cox Hall Galleries at The Clemson Little Theatre’s Pendleton Playhouse
- Clemson Area Transit Headquarters
The ARTS Center has three galleries, our Main Gallery, our upper hall gallery, and our lower hall gallery. We have an active schedule of exhibits coming in and out, so help with cleaning, hanging, changing, rearranging, and cleaning again is always needed.
