KNITFITI
A celebration of art and nature.
CALLING ALL KNITTERS, CROCHETERS AND FIBER ARTISTS
WE NEED YOUR PIECES!
Knitfiti is Coming to Gateway Way Park Next Winter
The Installation will take place in February 2023
The Arts Center of Clemson, The City of Clemson Parks and Recreation Department and City Arborist, Tony Tidwell are teaming up to create a month long public art installation in Gateway Park.
We are going to be focused on fiber for the next year!
We are beginning to collect fiber pieces that can be sewn to other pieces and then wrapped around the trees to create a colorful and festive immersive installation that celebrates art and nature.
We want to make sure all-natural fibers are used so the critters that live in the park stay happy and healthy! Please stick to fibers like 100% cotton, wool, alpaca, silk, cashmere, linen, etc. Definitely no acrylic or blends.
Bring or mail your pieces to The Arts Center!
