Materials fees are included in the tuition pricing.  You do not need to bring any materials.
Registration is required 3 days before the start of a class or workshop.
You are not registered unless paid in full.

 

If you are a Clemson resident your discount will be applied before you pay.
You will need to register each child separately to get all discounts.

Character Design with Anwar Hanano
ages: 8+

This class allows your imaginative child to bring their fantasy characters to life! Over four weeks, students will design and draw their own character or creature. Students will learn about visual story telling, brainstorming, drawing the figure, and conveying characteristics with costume and pose.

Henna Design with Jyoti Rewetkar
ages: 8-12

Jyoti will teach students the history behind henna and how to use traditional line work to create their design. They will then learn how to apply their designs to their skin with henna cones!

Color Theory 101 with Deja Fleming
ages: 6-9

Students will learn the fundamentals of color theory! Deja will help them learn their way around the color wheel as they name and mix paint colors. Students will also learn how to mix primary colors to create secondary and tertiary colors. They will play with complimentary, analogous, and monochromatic color schemes. Students can expect to go home with 2-4 pieces!

Comics 101 with Anwar Hanano
ages: 8+

Over four weeks students will learn about comic book creation and make one to several comic book pages. The class will teach basic drawing techniques around character poses, perspective drawing, and composition. The class will also talk about story telling.

Art Junior with Catherine Gurri
ages: 3-6

A space for littles to get messy, learn new things, and have guided sensory experiences! Young artists will be led in different mediums such as pastel, paint, and air dry clay. You can expect 3-5 pieces from this 4-session class.

Kids Clay with Julie Banker
ages: 6-9

A great space for you kiddo to get their hands dirty! Julie will lead students through multiple handbuilding projects; kids can expect to learn coil, slab, and pinch techniques. Julie will discuss how we fire pottery and students will experience the glazing process. You can expect 2-4 pieces from this 4 week class.

Tween Clay with Emily Freelin
ages: 10-12

Students will spend the first class on the pottery wheel, creating a few small forms! The second class will be spent finishing and glazing their pottery. Emily will discuss the firing process and surface decoration. This class is beginner friendly, and you can expect 1-3 pieces from this class!

Clay Academy with Emily Freelin
ages: 13+

Emily creates a space for young adults in the clay studio that allows for creative exploration and visual expression. Students will collaborate with Emily to decide on projects, and Emily will supply them with the help needed to achieve their vision. Sculptures and functional pottery are just the start of what students are able to learn in this class. You can expect 1-3 pieces from this class; this class is fit for all skill levels. Beginners welcome!

A space for homeschooled and virtual schooled kids to explore their creativity and learn the fundamentals of art education. Catherine will teach students elements and principles of design through various projects- exploring all mediums! You can expect 2-4 projects from this 4-session class. Open to all levels.
